why do you use so many dashed borders in your css?
idk why i want to talk about this but it feels good to write every once in a while and i just swapped keebs and need to get a feel for this one.
so. dashed borders. why? i use a lot of dashed borders in my web design because they look like i've sewn the element into the site. it feeds into calling myself a web weaver instead of a dev or a designer or web master. something like that. i'm weaving my site. taking different threads of my life and combining them into something new and interesting. the elements are patches that i'm sewing onto the fabric of my site.
the stitches metaphor also appeals to me because i've been crocheting for 15+ years now. i'm not just weaving my site, i'm crocheting it and sewing the sleeves on. everything is stitches when you come right down to it and far be it from me to break with tradition.
side note: this keyboard is so loud. it has red switches but it also has a metal back plate and ever since i broke a keyboard putting masking tape in i'm too chicken shit to mod another one.
but yeah, just a little one here. just some thoughts on the subject of stitching my life together with various materials. bye!
